*Ueew is a word to say when you’re disgusted. (sounds like u as in glue)
**Come on = follow me, let’s go

A: What are you frightened by?
B: I’m usually frightened by some drunk guys walking down the street at night.

I’m frightened of snakes.
I’m frightened of cockroaches.
I’m frightened of thunderstorms.
I’m frightened of ghosts.
I’m frightened of the dark.

I was frightened by the sound of an animal walking back and forth outside our camper. I thought it was a bear.

I was frightened by the movie, “The Silence of the Lambs.” I couldn’t sleep for a week after watching it.

Now ask your partner/pen(key)pal these questions.
What are you frightened by?
What is the most frightened you have ever been? What were you frightened by?
Do you get frightened by thunderstorms?
When might you say ‘come on’ to someone?
When do you usually say ‘Ueeew’? Is there a similar word in your language? What is it?
